It’s hard to imagine that the massive 50,000- square foot store in Dallas’ Design District known as Furniture To Go was once a two-person operation run from proprietors Corey Burnett and Melissa Marron’s apartment.

Long story short, Burnett and Marron were moving so much inventory from their apartment that management kicked them out, citing they were unlawfully operating a business on the premises. Getting the boot, pushed the couple to expand into a storefront in the Design District. It’s current location at 2759 Irving Blvd. Dallas, TX 75207 comes with a dedicated mattress showroom with home furnishings for every room in the house. Furniture To Go carries a huge assortment of styles, including contemporary, traditional, mid-century modern, baroque, western and rustic furniture. The couple also gravitates toward “head-turning” conversation pieces, which include Throne Chairs, 6-by-8 foot hand carved mirrors, life size animal sculptures, and even authentic cowhides dyed with metallic, leopard, and zebra prints.
